Inductive and Capacitive Sensors:

Tubular or rectangular body. Models available with extended sensing distances, IP69K sealing and extended temperature range for CIP.

Inductive sensors are a non-contact device specifically designed to detect metal objects even if contaminated by non-metallic liquids or dust. Capacitive sensors are mainly used for presence and level control of powders and liquids.

Photoelectric Sensors:

Tubular, rectangular and fibre optic formats. The general purpose sensors are diffused, background suppression, retro-reflective or through beam with either infra-red, visible red or laser emission. Models are available in stainless steel IP69K housings. We also offer an extensive range of specialist application sensors for print registration, label presence, luminescence, clear object detection, colour and edge control.

Ultrasonic Sensors:

Tubular or rectangular body. Ultrasonic sensors use sound waves to detect an object so they are not affected by the colour or transparency of the object to be detected. They are used predominantly to detect clear materials like glass or film. Analogue models are mainly used to control the levels of powders or liquids. Ideal for applications in dirty or dusty environments.

Area Sensors:

Through beam or retro-reflective light curtains designed for detection or measurement. Available with either straight or crossed beams and analogue or transistorised outputs. We can measure heights up to 3.7m and detect parts as small as 2mm in diameter.

Measurement:

There are many different non-contact technologies available for distance and dimension measurement as well as vibration and inclination. We have brought together an extensive range of devices including analogue inductive, ultrasonic and area sensors as well as incremental and absolute rotary encoders. We are also specialists in high resolution measurement systems for dimension, colour and gloss.

Machine Safety:

Type 2 and 4 safety light curtains, sensors and controllers for finger, hand, leg, thigh and body detection. Models are available in both IP69K and heated housings for the most demanding applications. We also supply and support both laser and radar based safety floor scanners.

Automatic Identification:

Industrial fixed position as well as corded/cordless hand held 1D linear and 2D datamatrix barcode readers using the latest laser and imaging technologies. Models are available with Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus and DeviceNet. Solution provider for the inkjet, labelling and logistics industries.

Vision:

Vision based solutions including smart cameras which are as easy to configure as sensors for object recognition and identification. With just a few pushes of an integrated teach button or through free, easy to use, software you can solve applications which in the past would have either required several sensors or complicated machine vision systems.

We hold an extensive stock of accessories to enable the connection and mounting of all our products including reflectors, brackets, M8 and M12 cables and sensor testers.
