Products
Products Supplied
- Hyperspectral Cameras:
- Pro-Lite supplies advanced hyperspectral, multispectral and infrared imaging systems. Our supplier partners include Cubert (real-time, snapshot imagers for 355-1000nm), NEO (HySpex push-broom hyperspectral line-scan imagers, 400-2500nm), NIREOS (broadband/IR low light hyperspectral imager) and imec (filter-on-chip, multispectral mosaic imagers).
- CMOS and SWIR Cameras and Sensors:
- Pro-Lite supplies HDR CMOS and SWIR InGaAs cameras and image sensors from New Imaging Technologies (NIT) that are ideal for machine vision and industrial inspection applications. A choice of SWIR sensor sizes from 320 x 256 up to 1280 x 1080 pixels is offered, together with interface options that includes analogue, CameraLink, GigE, SDI and USB 3.0.
Applications include Security and surveillance, laser test, semiconductor inspection, welding and additive manufacturing process monitoring, microscopy and life science, hot glass inspection, firefighting, artwork inspection and thermography. - Camera and Sensor Calibration and Characterisation:
- Pro-Lite offers a wide range of equipment for image quality testing and calibration of image sensors and machine vision cameras.
This includes uniform light sources, spectrally tuneable light sources (Labsphere) and lightboxes in the UV-VIS-NIR (Imatest). Test charts (MTF, dynamic range, ISO and CPIQ standard) and test systems (motion blur, collimator, stray light) for characterising sensor performance along with professional software for automated measurement and reporting. - Motion Systems:
- Pro-Lite supplies a range of motorised motion solutions for machine vision and photonics applications. From OWIS we offer motorised single-axis linear and rotary positioning stages for simple positioning requirements.
From Nanomotion, we supply piezo motors and ceramic runners for integration into compact, high-precision photonic systems.
From Symétrie, we also supply multi-axis positioning hexapods for high precision handling tasks requiring free positioning of one platform in six degrees of freedom.

- Pro-Lite acquired German company SphereOptics GmbH (Herrsching, Munich) in 2011. Formed in 2003, SphereOptics manufactures and calibrates optical materials and standards for diffuse transmission and reflection. SphereOptics also distributes a similar range of products to Pro-Lite, including: instruments for measuring light and the optical properties of materials; nanopositioning products; optics and optical materials; and spectrometers and spectral imaging equipment.
SphereOptics is ISO 9001 certified and offers ISO 17025 accredited measurement and calibration services for the reflectance of diffusely reflecting materials.
